KRAMES

Krames will be taking over SoCal the next week — starting out with BIGSTEREO sponsored party Free Range in San Diego tonight at Kava Lounge and ending next week at IHEARTCOMIX’s Still Fucking Awesome on the 7th. We got our dirty little hands on some new Krames edits and remixes that should have you psyched for both parties (like you weren’t already).

These two come off a soon to be released mix for Actual Pain. Totally displays Krames’ versatility… that Shrine/Mother mix makes me hot and bothered:

And here’s “Sound of The Police” (woop woop) off a future release. Sidenote: KRS-One was the first rap artist I saw perform live many, many years ago. Amazing. Anyway, a refreshing take on a classic:

  1. shine mother is brilliant – love the guitar sampling used in the transition between the songs.

  2. I’m so sick of the laptop nerd gang. It’s so over. Analyze. He looks like a nerd, the music is nerdy, and I don’t need to watch him to know he’s just another one of the nerds who uses a freakin laptop to produce. Sitting behind a laptop on stage is not cool. Sure, a few nerds like Justice have made a name (but they are fading quickly), but thi is not an excuse to forget how REAL electronic music has been made since the 80’s. Also, why the hell does everyone wear all these bright colors, is this to compensate for the dark and bleak musical situation the laptop people have gotten us in?

  3. homie check his crates before you instigate.

  4. UMM…..you have no case for deliberation!
