I’ve been waiting quite a while to do a Curses! post, but the wait is over. I’ve been hooked ever since he came through with the Institubes tour a few months ago. He was first up of the bunch but killed it laying vocals over the his entire set. I have a feeling that this year is going to be really big for him (heh, add him to my list) and he tells me that he’s been working pretty hard. You’ve got the original tracks, the numerous remixes, playing at Fabric, more touring and even more surprises I’m sure.

This track isnt new, but I dont know how I missed it in the first place. C.L.A.W.S (some of our wonderful local San Francisco talent) lent his theme song to Curses! to throw his nasty bass touch to it. The commanding vocals are from Jillian of Von Iva…definitely go check each of those artist’s myspace pages. C.L.A.W.S has all his tracks available for download as a Christmas present to everyone… and no doubt you’ll get a little greedy and take them alll..

C.L.A.W.S – Theme (Curses! rmx)

Next up is kindof a surprising collaboration between Curses!, Juiceboxxx and Dre Skull. Instead of ‘griming’ it up, Curses! brings in the rock guitar, the heavy bass and his signature ‘Curses!’ vocal sprinkled here and there.

Last little nugget for now is a rework of Drums of Death. This one gets a little heavier on the drum ‘n bass sound, but good and distinctly Curses! nonetheless.
