3. Artist to watch is tough as hell. Danger has come into his own, Felix Cartal is killin it, LA Riots and Villains are on the rise… and surkin is sneaking around in the shadows. It is gonna be a great year :O

   Disappointed to see Kissy Sell Out left off the remixers list and Mark Ronson absent from DJ of the year.

    One more tip for 08…. any production/remix/artist/dj that doesnt sound like Justice or anything Ed Banger, will be hot. I love em, but.. just sayin.

23. seeing daft punk alive tour was one of the most amazing experiences of my entire life… best remixer and favorite remix of 2007 is so hard!

    i’m so caught between the Crystal Castles vs Health remix and the 1234 Vanshe remix! this def deserves a d-face…

I gots to second Sleazemore and John Grève…Switch, Sinden, Hervé/Count Of Monte Cristal and Crookers definitely had huge years and will surely continue to dominate in ‘08, wheter it’s remix of the year, dj of the year, artist of the year or album of the year (Sinden/COMC are doing something on Domino after all). Not much love for Chicago but I guess there’s always next year…

53. Crystal Castles vs. HEALTH is from 2005 and shouldn’t be on the list.

    Crystal Castles was remixer of the year and they are not nominated. Off the top of my head they did outstanding remixes of Good Books, Little Ones, Bloc Party, Uffie, Liars, Soho Dolls, the Klaxons remix was huge this year even though it was from last year.

63. STARFUCKERS… fuck oath… though its pretty rough competing with Daft Punk Alive… its wierd though cause isnt that really a TOUR not a party? but Starfuckers is Definately the most amazing party ive been to this side of the world… much respect.. hope they take it..

65. when i flew to sydney people i was told to go to starfuckers. it was the worst partybeen to. the djs there are so bad i think 1 djs whole set was premixed. very bad big stereo

    luke: all of the nominations were made by bigstereo readers… not by bigstereo. there is no editorial process in this… and if there was there would be a few album, songs, remixes not included in this poll. popular opinion wins in polls.

75. Ii just had to say after reading some of the comments above that i have the time of my life when i partied at Starfuckers. Their theme raves are fucken dope and their neon nights mixtape was amazing. Nuff said. They deserve the cred x
