Hands & Arms: kinda strange that the two bands Tybalt has remixed are Damn Arms and Cut Off Your Hands. Trend? I dunno — but the appendage-band remixes stop there as their next will be for Brooklyn’s Telepathe.
“Edie” might be my favorite track off Damn Arm’s The Live Artex, and Tybalt does the song justice by creating a timeless electro remix that reminds me a bit of a noisier Cybotron track or something. This mix is in good company — look for a release of “Edie” with remixes by Cut Copy, Like Woah and Knightlife sometime soon in 08.

Tybalt takes Cut Off Your Hands’ “Closed Eyes” in a totally different direction than the original. I am pretty much in love with this remix:

I simply loved the tybalt mix of Closed eyes its so eighties and so actual at the same time. one of the best of this quarter for me.
