My Robot Friend - “Robot High School” (YouTube)

Everybody’s favorite robot (ok, besides those two punks from France) is back with a brand new video and song. And this time he’s going to school. My Robot Friend has always been a tad bit conceptual, but it looks like it’s going to a new level with a special website dedicated to Robot High School. The site promises his third album in 2008 so keep an eye out for that.

Ohmigosh, the op-art influenced video makes me want to barf in the first five seconds… dizzy! The track itself doesn’t. “Robot High School” teeters on political — is it an autobiographical robot story or a statement on the current educational system? Or both? I dunno — but it works.
