We’ve posted Soft Tigers a few times before (here and here) — but Bang Gang 12 Inch has just released “Mr Ice Cream” on their perfectly curated vinyl series. Knife Machine takes the track in a totally different direction shaking away the original’s pop roots. Still a favorite. It’s nice to hear a darker spin on the upbeat original. We’re all over anything Knife Machine does anyway. They’ve been churning out some of the best remixes…

13. it’s not really by their “Ice Cream” song, but without a doubt Soft Tigers are the best aussie band I’ve encountered in months. Way way way fun… Especially the Miami Horror remix and their amazing “Maria” song.. Top notch shit.
