Remix Contest! Yelle

Yelle is having a remix contest!! Get busy.. here’s the official word from her camp:

YELLE is proud to announce the official “Ce Jeu” remix contest!

We’re putting the tracks on line for you to remix. So here is your chance to create your own version of the hit party anthem. We welcome all interpretations of this ode to going out.

Ghetto Tech, House , minimal, Pop, hiphop , ambient…

The winner will be selected and contacted by Yelle herself! Stay up late put some heat in our heartache!

Download: Yelle – “Ce Jeu” (A cappella)

- tempo = 108.35 bpm
- key = G(b) (Fa# for french!)

Work it, twork it, tweak it, rework it and send your labor of love to yelle.contest@gmail.com by December 15th, 2007 December 20th, 2007 (extended!)

    Well ya, don't ya get it? You make the backround and tweak the vocals. They have the chords. So you have to be handy with all sorts of elements like drums, chords, tamburals(however you spell it), effects and that stuff

    Hey Yelle, I'd be glad if you could answer some more questions: Can we enter more than one version into the contest? Are we allowed to post our remixes on other sites (I'd upload mine on my own website and post links to it on other sites for example)?

    we have already received more than one hundred remixes , thanks a lot , it's so cool !!!!!

    Now i need time to listen to all properly so it'll take a while before the results comes out, you can still send remixes before christmas time if you want to.
