Classixx or formerly known as Young Americans. How cool is that? To be formerly known like Prince? As you may or may not have heard these guys were rocking the Young American’s name until they got a court order to remove the name right at our night Light’s Down Low, and right in front of my face. How fucking ridiculous. Anyway they are back with the name Classixx and ready to throw down again. Apart from being super nice guys they rock the decks and make it like butter on the dancefloor.

Here are some things Tyler wanted you to know with the new name change:

-changed our named from Young Americans to CLASSIXX due to copyright issues.

-This hasn’t stopped us or slowed us down. We are excited to perform and release our past, present, and future music under this new name.

-We will be releasing our tracks “COLD ACT ILL” and “DIAL 1″ digitally on websites like beatport next month with DJ DAN’s label Instereo along with remixes of the tracks.

-We also just signed with So Sweet Records and plan on an early ‘08 ep release with them which will be follow by a lot of touring.

-we have a lot of shows coming up in l.a. a few chicago dates and hard new years with justice and we will be at winter music conference in miami.

-we founded and throw a great semi monthly party called HUSH HUSH in L.A.

I know I’m excited.
