The Twelves take “2 Hearts” back to Kylie Minogue’s more disco-y times — this remix sounds like it could’ve almost come out of the Fever era by ditching her glam band persona for something a little more conventional. I love The Twelves but miss the piano and the stomper potential of the original. I’m not sold on the Braxe or Studio remixes either — so The Twelves definitely fill a void. But I guess I just wish it was louder, more dangerous; ya know, torn apart and then duct taped back together again. But maybe then again, the problem with “2 Hearts” is it is almost impossible to leave its perfect, cushy pop sound.

21. I’ve loved The Twelves for a while – their stuff is great but I agree that it could be slightly harder. Heck…I kind of feel that way about most of their material but it still rocks. Good for early in the set though, yea? I just posted some fresh remixes on my own blog by Kid Color…g’wan and download if you have a second.
