Blamma Blamma

blamma Blamma

All us gluttonous Americans are spending the day indulging ourselves in turkey and pumpkin pie pondering what we have to be thankful for. Well, I’m thankful for sweet potatoes and thankful I got sent this remix of a Rival Joustas track by Blamma! Blamma! today to bring me out of my tryptophan-induced food coma. For all the haters from our last Blamma! Blamma! post, how about you guys give them a second chance? I think this track (self-described as a hypotic groover) shows their progression with where electronic music seems to be shifting, while throwing in vocals at the end reminiscent of old Black Sabbath.

Ok, enough musical analysis….gotta go deep fry the turkey! Feast your ears on this…

  6. Good stuff! The opening reminds me of a more upbeat version of Whitey’s – Leave Them All Behind.

  7. Seems there is a consistent turn towards making long, building mixes as opposed to the three-minute radio friendly snippet. Not that one is better than another, but for a bit there it seemed that most turned their back on anything over 3:30. I love this song and the way it builds is absolutely delicious-the nice thing about a longer track is that it’s easy to lose yourself in it. Can’t wait to hear what comes next from them :)
