Do any of us remember carting around 50 pounds plus of records and keeping those cherished bad boys in there for months at a time before rotating out? That's an attitude that definitely gets under my skin - quit worrying about trying to prove your own worth with how in the know you are and instead appreciate what blogging has been able to do for the music community. The instant gratification we can now get by posting new artists daily is changing everything - even at URB (a magazine I work for), we changed our yearly Top 100 list to the Top 1000, partially as a result of blogs like Big Stereo. As late as you think Big Stereo was on this, I guarantee that there were people who stumbled across the tracks for the first time by reading this post. Way to go, Anonymous. Wow, they're considered late because the track is just being released?
