Well it’s been a year since we first posted The Teenagers — and what a year it has been for the band: they’ve gone from MySpace/blog darlings to international cool kids. “Starlett Johansson” has been kicking around the tubes for a few months but it had its official release on Merok this week. If nothing else, the track could become the Teenagers’ anthem. It sums up everything we love about this band — hell, all the internet bands — obsession and love and naivety and most of all an overwhelming sense of vulnerability. They’ve got nothing to lose so they put it all out on the line for their number one obsession.
