Treasure Fingers introduces Ludachrist
20 October 2007 :: posted by misstoats
Here is the next installment of our ‘Guest Blog’ from Treasure Fingers. Take it away….
‘Here I present you with an awesome mix titled “Bangfest” from 2 very close friends of mine. I’ve worked with them on shit tons of tracks across multiple genres for years and now they’ve joined up together to form the super mashup group, Ludachrist. It consists of Knick, of Evol Intent from the ATL now residing in Los Angeles, and Ewun from Rochester, NY. Check out their myspace for a complete tracklisting and to holler at them dudes.
Now, just imagine if Girl Talk had grown up in Compton circa ‘93 and listened to way too much Warp Records material, that should give you a good idea of their sound. “Bangfest vol. 2″ is already in the works and they are preparing a synched dual laptop show to go live. There’s also high probability of a Treasure Fingers + Ludachrist tour next year.
As an added bonus, I’m including a dj-edit-slash-minorly-remixed-version of the classic “It’s your turn” by Delegation that I did recently. No reason to be stingy with it, right? ‘
No, TF there isnt any reason to be stingy…..especially when it’s that delicious…..

to the guy named “are you serious”
mash ups are lame only because people are bad at making them. this is a whole new level. and to be honest i like it even though i dislike cheesy mash ups. it has been on repeat in my car for a week. the shits hot. don’t hate on it. i guarantee you don’t have 10% of the musical talent that knick and ewun have.

This is a sure fire panty dropping spectacle of immense proportions. I can honestly say that I do not 90% of the tunes in this mix on their own. But the way everything is mashed and mixed, it is a whole different animal. BIG BIG mix of the year.

i love that RICHARD UNCOOKED SERIOUS couldn’t think of a real name that started with ‘U’. I can’t either :(

the bangfest mix was effin’ tasty… when people figure out how to work “Detachable Penis” into a hip hop/dance mix, they deserve mad props…
as for R. U. Serious, he could perhaps change his middle name from UNCOOKED TO ULYSSES… Just a thought
