Oh how I love referrals. I was tipped off to Kasper Bjørke a little bit ago when Dominique from The Glass rolled through San Francisco for Lovefest. He promised to hook me up with all kinds of good music and this was nestled into what he gave me.

Kasper is part of the Plant Music family, as well as being half of Filur (the other half being Tomboy of Who Made Who). Good pedigree…check.

His first full-length ‘In Gumbo’ is about to be released on October 23rd on Plant Music (you can grab it on Beatport, US iTunes, or international iTunes). Unlike most electronic music these days, it’s not purely digital. Fidel Astro added a bit of grit and grime for the first remix…which I rather enjoy. Stay tuned for the second remix by Tomboy.
