Black Kids

Black Kids has been getting a lot of early Internet support and buzz — the latest fuel from a very positive Pitchfork review of their free Myspace demo ep. And it’s no surprise. They’re so f’ing easy to love… they hit a timeless Go Team-esque sound that hits every range of emotion. Black Kids found the perfect blend of nostalgia and gregariousness (or maybe lack of) to be placed on the playlist of every twenty-something year old.

“I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You” is as perfect as any demo can be — it’s begging to be a classic, and it’s begging to be remixed. Plan to have it on repeat.
