So this had every intention of being our 2nd installment in the ‘guest blog’ series, but TEPR felt more comfortable with his role writing music as opposed to ‘inspired music journalist’. For his ‘guest blog’, he would love to introduce us to Fortune. We’ll let TEPR’s own words to describe the band: “Fortune’s first EP will be amazing. It is an example of beautiful songwriting producing a sound that falls between Ratatat and Daniel Balavoine (famous 80’s french singer), laced with awesome melodies like those of Grandaddy or Phoenix.” Enough said.

The EP will be out in october on Disque primeur.

Somewhere between a Canadian tour and an Australian tour with Yelle, TEPR found time to rework this song into something that I’m sure will find itself on repeat…esp after you hear the breakdown halfway through the song.
