Old Gold + Fiore

BOOM! Dgenetics is back with another round of aural pleasure. Old Gold is back with that 70′s groove. He’s back to tell his ‘True Story’ about cruising a parking lot for a girl and getting lucky in the back of his car. If I hadn’t seen the press photo, I would’ve guessed that the oh-so-smooth vocals were coming from behind a pair of aviators and a handlebar mustache. Well, I guess he’s just missing the mustache part. Anyway, the retro synths seem to have worked for him.

Then 17 year old Fiore comes out of left field and throws a crazy psychedelic curve-ball on the track (he did all the instrumentals himself). It sounds like the original track if you replace the handlebar mustache with long hair, a head scarf and an acid trip.

So the Dgenetics gang has the Old Gold ‘D.O.G.’ maxi-single, Fiore’s debut album
‘Gold We Hold’, and Dgenerate Nation’s debut album ‘Bull City; all soon being
released digitally through Puregroove in London. The Old Gold release is already available on iTunes so go cop that!
