So we wanted to start a new type of post where we ask an artist that we post on BIGSTEREO to write up a guest blog with some insider detail about a new band or artist… maybe some up and coming band they know, or just some new music that they got slipped with all their exclusive connections. So we conned Blake Miller from Moving Units/Weird Science notoriety into doing the first post….

If you’ve ever wondered what classic hair metal circa 1983 would have sounded like if it was made using soft synths and modern plug-ins by a total badass from Sydney then consider your unholy prayers answered.

Its called “Fun Punch” by White Noise and it ranks amongst the illest electro bangers currently in circulation.

This track is a remix of a tune by the excellent group known as Bag Raiders. And I present to you a glistening streaming version straight from the horse’s mouth (so to speak).

Its the aural equivalent of an NHL slap shot to the face. And it makes girls squirm on the dance floor every time. I rest my case.

hot track made better by going a little further with it.

Heya guys, i asked big stereo to take the song down for now (thankyou for that btw) just because its gonna be getting released soonish along with a bunch of other awesome remixes for fun punch so just hold tight.

does anyone else notice the huge similarity between the opening bass line of this remix and justice’s waters of nazarath? not necessarily a bad thing though. this remix is good, i enjoy it.
