Yelle is our obsession, and we have a couple new remixes to fan the fire. In case you haven’t been keeping track, Yelle’s Pop Up dropped yesterday on Source etc in France and will be hitting the iTunes Stateside on October 9th.
NixonPelletier’s “ACDG” uses the instrumental to Animotion’s “Obsession.” It’s missing the punch of the Riot In Belgium and Tepr remixes, but enjoyable none the less… and it bonus points for not quite feeling like a mash-up.

The Siriusmo remix of “Les Femmes” takes the track from electro-pop to piano-pop… I have to say I miss the synth of the original “Les Femmes”, but we’re all over this version as well.

same thing happens in my clubnight when i play je veux te voir; people still LOVE it so much! they start to scream when they hear the first line ‘Cuizinier avec ton petit sexe entoure de poils roux’ and they’re lying on the floor rolling by the time the synth climax arrived. it’s so much fun to see.
i like the a cause des garcons remix by the way, it gives a new twist to the song, more sophisticated maybe than the other remixes. more listenable. the other ones are more to go crazy on.
