Teenagersintokyo

It’s been a bit of a wait, but teenagersintokyo have released their first official EP on Pavement Entertainment (who have released discs from Lost Valentinos, Knife Machines and Paper Scissors). We all know there are a ton of quality Australian bands but few are able to make it outside of Australia… at least without a helping hand from Modular. Keeping my fingers crossed that teenagersintokyo make the leap because I am in love. You have no idea how psyched I am for this band…
“Robotcat” is off their EP and has a harder edge than their single, “Ended It Tonight.” But still just as catchy. Reminds me a bit of NYPC or CSS… so absoultely no complaints…

teenagersintokyo’s self-titled EP is in stores now in Australia — Good luck getting your hands on this if you live outside of Australia though. Hey, if you find a store that ships internationally then drop a link in the comments…

It is situations like this that having friends in far-off lands comes in handy
Thanks to the sorcery of paypal and international air mail I was able to overcome the same problem with the Midnight Juggernauts releasing their album Dystopia in Australia only

I hear the EP is being released in Japan with 3 extra tracks including a knife machine (lost valentinos) and gloves (damn arms) remix of robocat….
later in the year.

They’re playing here tomorrow night with Cut Off Your Hands! Should be a killer show if I can finish this essay. In other news there are Knife Machine (Lost Valentinos Tech i guess you could call them) and G.L.O.V.E.S. remixes out there of Robocat, which are particularly filthy. And fun fact, Jono from the LVs produced this EP. Terra-Australis!

Man, you need move to Australia already. We’ve got teenagersintokyo and Cut Off Your Hands playing out zine launch on Thursday, we can’t wait.
Also on the Ghostwood front, I’m a Modular fanboy too and I like them. Picked up their EP yesterday and it’s not bad. We’re going to check out their show on Saturday with Mercy Arms for an interview…
