Private is Thomas Troelsen’s new band… you may know him from Superheroes or, more likely, as the producer behind some of Junior Senior’s greatest hits. He also wrote/produced JaConfetti’s “Hold Nu Kay” which you can check out on their MySpace (guarantee you’ll either hate it or love it). But ANYWAY. Private is his newest project and has some of that signature Thomas Troelsen sound that you hear throughout all his work. The Downsyndrome Mixxx of “My Secret Lover” filters out a lot of the “fun” of the original — it kinda feels like you’re listening to the track underwater… It may not be quite as catchy as the original, but it has our attention…

The original version of “My Secret Lover” was up on Private’s MySpace for a second but it look like it’s gone now. Keep an eye out for that and hopefully catch a peak soon.
