The Dirt Lab

The Dirt Lab has a new remix up of “Pick-Me-Up Uppercut” by Pop Levi. Oh man, this track is gonna have us dancing all night. It is a little less dark than their Horrors mix — though I guess that is the nature of the respective bands. Overall it has a much more contemporary feeling than the original, but still… there’s that nostalgic Pop Levi rock feel to it too.

… and half of the Dirt Lab, Spencer Product, also sent us his latest mix tape. Spencer Product has been hovering under the radar (or maybe slightly above?) for quite some now… he’s been a resident dj at some of NYC’s hottest club nights and various music projects such as Black Mustache, Prance and of course the Dirt Lab. Anyway. This mix is a nice little showcase:

Spencer Product – “Ruffmixx 4 Summer” (mp3)

About the third track on Spencer Product’s Remixx for summer, is a hit by an Australian electro/indie act called Riot in Belgium. I hopefully will be seeing them at the end of September at Parklife. But thanks for the mp3!
