Moving Units

It’s been a quiet few years since Moving Units put out their first full length in 2004 (which i loved). They had their share of label troubles, but they’re back with their signature dance sound and a more mature twist. I put their cd on the second I got it and it hasn’t stopped playing. You can tell this album is a labor of love. And it looks like their hard work paid off b/c I saw them open for the Smashing Pumpkins at the Fillmore a few weeks ago….eh, just kindof a big deal. I had a really hard time picking ONLY two songs off the album, but these two made the cut b/c I love the ‘New Order’ sound of Dark Walls and the melodic synths in Crash ‘N’ Burn Victims.

Hexes for Exes will be released on Metropolis Records on October 9, 2007. Worth every penny…
