Codebreaker + Miami Horror
27 June 2007 :: posted by TravisWe’ve posted Codebreaker and Miami Horror quite a few times before… (as you may or may not know Miami Horror is the production force behind Gameboy/Gamegirl). So… Codebreaker versus Miami Horror has us pretty excited over here at BIGSTEREO. I have to say, Miami Horror’s take on “Exiled” is a breath of fresh air… taking it in a bit of a different direction. It’s a great example of how a great remix should be done: an artist’s own interpretation and revisualization but never totally departing from the original.
Plus, I love the cleaner synthier sounds — a nice departure from all the dirtier Justicesque noises that have been flooding the dance floors as of late. Oh man… are the Justice fanboys gonna nail my balls to the wall or what?

With MH’s collaborations with Curtis Vodka and Gameboy/Gamegirl and his remix work for bands like Midnight Juggernauts and support from bigger blogs like GvB… needless to say, we expect big things from this guy. Oh man, the pressure is on.

that is damn good, I love Miami Horror. The stuttered vocals sound quite like the Fake Blood remixes, not that that’s not a very good thing…

Hey, with the whole fake blood thing, I know your not saying I copied the style or anything, but just for the point I actually finished the first version of this remix like 1.5months ago before I even listen to any fake blood. MAYBE! I am the mysterious fake blood that everyone is sure has to be another producer. ;)

Yeah I’m sorry about that, I realised after posting that it might look like I was saying you copied it, but I figured you probably would’ve finished that before hearing it, cos his stuff is really new. Quite a lot of tracks have been heading that way recently anyway, I think that’s just taking it to its extreme conclusion!
but yes you might be him, actually I KNOW Fake Blood is about 2 or 3 other producers, and one is famous I am 66% sure!!!111ONE!

Sounds very like everything coming out of Paris just now….not a bad thing really…very Jackson esque.
