Gravy Train!!!!

On July 10th, Chunx, Funx, Hunx and Junx (who replaced Drunx after their debut album) are releasing their first record since leaving Kill Rock Stars and joining up on their hometown label Cochon Records. Gravy Train!!!!’s All The Sweet Stuff is about what we’ve come to expect from the troublesome fourgy… plenty of foul mouthed music to get the party started.
The album is produced by Hey Willpower, and you can definitely hear the influence as it is a little more polished pop than their previous efforts. Hey Willpower is a smart choice: he’s taken their sound to the next level. And with tracks like “Just Listen” there are a few pleasant surprise sounds on this album. Fuck, blogs are no good at fact checking. Last night I misread the liner notes, and due to a poorly placed line break, I thought Hey Willpower produced the album. But no, one song only — “Call Me In French.” The album itself has a bit of that Hey Willpower sound which is why I was quick to jump. Ok. Problem fixed?
Some people are gonna love that All The Sweet Stuff is easier on the ears. Some people are gonna hate it. But yeah, you’ll decide.

And sigh… “Sippin 40z” was my first introduction to the band many, many years ago. To this day I can’t see a 16 year old without singing this song to myself in my head. Damn you Gravy Train!!!! Still their best track to date…

Gotta love New England.
Never been there myself, but an entire childhood of loving Stephen King novels makes me certain it would be an awesome place to live once I get old.
Unless of course it turns out that the New England depicted in that crappy CW show is more true to life than Stephen Kings.
Then screw that.

The MP3 of “Club Situation” you have posted IS NOT the album version. This version you posted is like the xanax slow version. Please correct it! The album version is a straight up club song that will get your ass shaking and breaking.

This Sippin 40z reminds me a lot of Shrivel Up by Devo for some reason.

You ever listen to Sugar & Gold? They’re a lot of fun and good guys to boot. We interviewed them last week:
