I CAN COUNT 2
6 June 2007 :: posted by Travis
I Can Count is back with the second volume of their compilation series. Volume 1 was noteworthy — actually surprising. I think it was the first time I had heard a compilation full of “unknown” artists and found myself enjoying every single track.
Volume 2’s tracklisting is very similar — it is mostly artists I am unfamiliar with, but judging from their MySpaces and the promo mix below we are in for a special treat.
I Can Count is quickly becoming a tastemaker label by unearthing some real gems. Keep an eye on them.
I Can Count Vol. 2 Promo Mix (mp3) featuring Intro by Rob Da Bank, Mr Beasley, Miss Odd Kidd, Sportsday Megaphone, Beauty Skool Dropoutm, Ear PWR and 303DIDTHISTOME
Check out Slutty Fringe for a bit more of a comprehensive review and a couple tracks off the compilation.
You can purchase I Can Count Volume 2 from their webshop for £4.
