Surkin & Bobmo

You don’t know how excited I was when I got a bunch of remixes of Surkin songs in my inbox from his label, Institubes. But I soon got even more excited b/c included in the bunch were a few songs from Bobmo, a fellow French kid who isn’t even out of high school. So the story goes that Bobmo got into Detroit techno/miami bass/electro/chicago house, discovered the wonderful musical playground called Napster, and began making beats on his Playstation(?)…geez, kids. No wonder Surkin and Bobmo seem like long lost twins. In fact, these guys are going to be collaborating (aka High Powered Boys). I guess you can’t go wrong when you’re backed by Ed Banger, Sinden and MSTRKRFT. Its not statutory rape if you’re over 18, right?
This post has a few more goodies than normal b/c I had this looming sense that I’d be doing you a tragic disservice if I posted only one song.
