NWT: Bollock Brothers

The Bollock Brothers we’re a punk rock novelty act started in the early 80’s led by Jock McDonald. Their early albums were pretty much remakes of older classics, but with tongue in cheek spins on the lyrics. The song ‘Horror Movies’ is irreverent lyrics about horror flicks on top of The Zombies’ ‘Spooky’. Harley David (Son of A Bitch) is of course a slighty re-written Serge Gainsborough cover.

In 1983 Michael Fagan, the man who broke into Buckingham Palace twice & had a conversation with the Queen, recorded a version of the Sex Pistols song “God Save The Queen” with The Bollock Brothers. The Bollock Brothers are still making music today, however ditching most of the comedy and parodies and creating original music which sounds like a grittier Sisters Of Mercy. Most of BB’s albums, old & new are available from Amazon.
