Montreal’s We Are Wolves were not only my favorite wolf band of 2005, but they also released one of my favorite albums, Non-Stop Je Te Plie en Deux. Two years later and the Wolves are back with a new single… and later this year their sophmore album, Total Magique.
“Fight & Kiss” is the lead single — not only does it have the most happening name ever — but it picks off right where the band left off. “F&K” is a driving synth rock track that is just flirting to get remixed for the dance floor. The b-side “Coconut 155″ is the bands most radio friendly track yet and could earn them some cross over appeal. Neither of these tracks are new directions for the band, but that’s not such a bad thing… they just keep on doing what they do best.

good band. some members of the band are collaborating with another montrealer, jordan dare, in an ensemble called Claass, doing their first how (i think) this saturday. my curiosity is certainly piqued
