Since we can’t let the Ed Bangers and Modulars take over the music world (as much as we’re loving it) we have to scoot over and make some room for the new guys, Dgenetics Musics. This little label was started earlier this year by a group of four artists/producers who want to make shit happen. The family members consist of Old Gold, Fiore, DJ Pumpkin Patch, and Dgenetics(the big daddy mastermind of the label). I must say I’m loving the track from Dgenetics b/c I’m a sucker for rollerdisco jams, but check out the rest of the fam. And all you other labels, you betta watch yo backs….

“Skate With Me” is the summer jam of the year, and it ain’t even the solstice yet. Dgenetics makes me nostalgic for skating next to my middle school sweetheart. The beat brings back memories of sweaty palms, hand-holding and orthodontics (chromed out!).
