We gets lot of mix tape submissions. Lots and lots. It’s often hard to pick and choose which to post because it’s often like comparing apples and oranges. Like someone might have an excellent track list but their mixing skills suck or someone might be at the top of their game but their track list sucks and they have nothing to say. Sooo I often opt out of not posting mixes because it’s just too hard to pick and choose. Anyway. I’m babbling. So a new weekly feature: Sundays we’re going to post the best mixes we received from the previous week.

The first comes from Flufftronix and features a pretty kick ass tracklisting. There are a bunch of tunes I’m guessing you haven’t heard yet. I’ve been waiting for a year and a half now for “Yr Mangled Heart” by The Gossip to be remixed… so exciting. Though I wish it was a little more angsty and rough and a little less Linus Loves. The second is by Australia’s Robot Academy — short little mix focusing on a few Australian favorites. And some other non-Australian favorites. “Perfect Kiss” may be my favorite song ever. Djs should play it often.
