Architecture In Helsinki + Pink Skull

Pink Skull is at it again and has given a ‘macumba’ spin to Architecture In Helsinki’s new single. They must have gone to South America on their last holiday and caught the bailefunk..or was it the bird flu? The original version sounds pretty tribal to begin with, but the Pink Skull guys have thrown the funk in it. I think it sounds like a mix between Santogold/MIA and Ed Bangers…bailefunk and bangers…bailebangers? I think they’re on to something….

Rumor has it that Pink Skull is in the process of collaborating with Amanda Blank, so stay tuned.

15. A-trak’s mix is a party mix, WAY more fun. I can’t wait to hear the other remixes that he’s working on. That mix CD he did for Obey is insane and a fucking inspiration. A-trak brings more new exciting ideas to the table and will be around a lot longer than PinkSkull.
