Since we seem to love all things Australian, Bigstereo wrote about Pinky Tuscadero last year and shed a few tears when they disbanded shortly after. But by some miracle from the ‘band gods’ they’re back as Lions At Your Door with a new singer and new songs….ready to rock your f’in socks off. Their vocals sound like the love child of Beth from The Gossip and Karen O. of the YYY’s….strong, loud and pounding every inch of the room. Maybe rock isn’t your cup of tea, but drinking electrosoda can get monotonous, too…

I was fortunate enough to see LAYD’s debut gig in Sydney last Thursday night. Hell of a tight set! Singer, Marihuzka, leaves Beth Ditto for dead.
