I dont know how they did it, but somehow Basement Jaxx managed to tempt Roxanna Shante out of retirement to lay down the vocals for their new track, Make Me Sweat. And thank god they did b/c I think I’ve found my new anthem. I know you may have seen the song on a few other blogs, but I couldn’t help myself. Not to quote the song, but ‘it’s a little hip-hop, a little electro, a little drum ‘n bass, a little bit of disco and all ‘o dat’ and it makes me quiver down there. All you dj’s who wanna make bitches dance, sweat, and take you home with them after the party should add this to their set immediately. You may even have to go dry off your private parts after you give it a spin….

roxanna sounds a bit mia-ish in the first part but it’s all o’dat and a bag of chips. i love the rap vocals over electro beats!

last i check there were 5000 music blogs. it is very likely we will cover the same territory as other blogs.

blogs don’t own music… even though some blog owners act like they do. if something is worth reposting then it gets reposted. if we snag it from another blog then we try to give them props.

there is a finite amount of music. if you don’t want to hear a song more than once in your lifetime then that is your own issue.

sorry just seems like a douchey thing to say. we are here trying to promote good bands and good songs, even if they have been covered, not everyone reads every blog, and as for the 5 million songs, yeah we aren’t posting shitty songs just cause no one has covered them and we aren’t here to build peoples itunes library just recommend kick ass shit.
