San Serac

Thank you Whiteboydancefloor for dropping us a note and reminding us that the new San Serac album is out. “Tyrant” was a total favorite a year ago today, and our opinion hasn’t really changed.
There is a lot of weight behind this comparison and I wouldn’t make it unless I really meant it, but San Serac is the closest thing to David Bowie that the current dance scene has… Not only vocally, but there’s a certain physical style and feeling emoted that you can’t help but think of Bowie. Of course this comparison hasn’t escaped San Serac. He tackles Bowie’s “Teenage Wildlife” and handles it, um, dare I say… better than.
