I recently wrote this note to a friend in regards to Hail Social’s new album, Modern Love And Death:
very… like 70’s non-dance disco but like post-punk at the same time. very um, unlikely. but just so good. almost important even.
Ok, that was at like 3am, but my opinion hasn’t changed much. It seems like Hail Social are on the brink of something very important… maybe not quite there yet. But…
Whatever. Modern Love And Death is definitely a late night treat. Like the perfect post-club/show chill out album.
