So It’s been about a week since all the madness began. Too much crazy shit happened. We were pretty much the only ones representing every band with a dance routine. Most DJ’s don’t even support each other and most of them play the same shit. Bands rule, and rocking out drunk from noon until 2am for five days in a row pretty much kicks ass, and then it kicks your ass once you go back home. We had a blast and can’t wait to go again next year. Thanks to all the great DJ’s and bands that showed their love to the BigStereo family. In particular thanks to Spektrum, DJ Omar, Peaches, Johnny Love, DJ DJ Dylan, Franki Chan, Daniel, Yo Majesty, that awesome cab driver with the English accent from Texas, Cheyne, Nathan, Katrina, Walter Meego, Greg, Lo Fi Fnk, Lazaro, Factory People, and the rest of you that said hello or tried to dance. A Big fuck you to UV Vodka and Monster for the bad hang overs.

Ohhh and you forgot to thank A-Trak for getting you sooo pumped up that you had to jump on stage and do a solo dance routine for 10 minutes. GOOD highligh, and for also making it to just about very event we were at. For seeing him (unintentionally) 4 days in a row he gets the award for “Most Seen/Heard/Danced to”

not to brag on the nyc acts, but matt & kim were one of the best things about sxsw this year… the beauty bar set was amazing… didn’t hurt following (fellow new yorkers) foreign islands and (canadian madmen) shout out out out out… not saying… just saying…

Australian Acts at SXSW…
As usual Airborne put on a great show to a packed out crowd. There were quite a few locals headbanging along - and Joel did his usual thing of jumping on the bar and playing his guitar along it…….
