Kiiiiiii

Kiiiiiii might be the biggest wtf moment since like ever. There’s a lot to say about this band but I’ll keep it simple: you must check them out. You’re either going to instantly love or instantly hate. There is no middle ground. Total Japan art rock gone… extreme. This is a lazy comparison that isn’t even exactly fair: but Kiiiiiii makes Mu look tame sane.

If you are over the age of 3, you might not know that “Four Little Joeys” is actually a cover of a Wiggles song. They actually make it work.

Kiiiiiii - “4 Little Joeys” (dj codomo remix) (mp3)

Hunt for more mp3’s on Kiiiiiii’s site.

Kiiiiiii is setting off on their first American tour… starting with a SXSW date with Best Fwends, Yo Majesty and Crystal Castles. That will be one retarded night.

2007.14.March (Wed) SXSW2007 @ Beauty bar, Austin, TX
2007.18.March (Wed) San Antonio, TX
2007.21.March (Wed) @ The Rickshaw Stop, SF

Yeah, this would mae an awesome/hyperactive/epileptic-seizure-inducing video.

If I was directing, I’d have the girls giving lap dances to The Wiggles. Why? To mess up a little kids head.
