16 February 2007 :: posted by Travis :: add to favsOk, I know I just posted Shakes a couple weeks ago, and it’s way too soon to be doing another post. But this song is just way too good not to go nuts for… and it’s Friday!
“Disneyland Vacation” explodes… it’s totally out of control. We’re digging this track like twenty times more than “Sister Self Doubt” which says a lot considering how much that song kills. Shakes definitely have roots in LCD Soundsystem style dance-punk, but they go way beyond that — they’re a bigger, dancier sound. Love, love the laser guns. That’s so Debbie Deb of them. We need more of that.
