Lazaro Casanova

I haven’t had the chance to meet Lazaro Casanova in person yet, but the guy seems so genuine and relaxed that it seems like a shame for everyone not to know who he is. Apart from DJing and remixing for the likes of The Knife and recently MSTRFKRFT he is now creating his own music and doing a pretty good job at it.

Residing in Miami, Lazaro spends his time creating and reworking in his backyard poolside with a large pizza in front of him, usually with his small white dog running around. He also has had residency at Revolver in Miami for more than two years.

His new venture which is recording his own material is new to him and “Shorts and Heel’s” which is one of his first tracks is named after many good looking ladies who wear shorts and heels in Miami. Yes we know, Lazaro you’re a big ol’ slut. It’s the first of a series of original tracks he’s doing this year. He was focusing on remixes for a good portion of last year so he feels the need to get back to his own thing.

Lucky for us he is about as in love with BigStereo as we are in love with his blog Shot Callin’ and he has given this to us as an exclusive.

Watch out for this guy, his relationship with BigStereo does not end here.
