The Secret Handshake

With the success (or at least popularity) of Young Love, emowave is all the new rage – maybe. Hot on the heals is fellow Texan Luis Dubuc aka The Secret Handshake who is set to drop his second album this spring. Produced by Ocelot Mthrfckrs, “Too Young” is a melodramatic indie-pop-punk track that in itself is a tad bit… sad. Sad as in sad not bad. Maybe that’s your thing though. And… the production is pretty damn solid. Toxic Avenger creates a dirtier mix for the dance floor which ends up being a bit friendlier to my ears…
