The Avalanches
8 February 2007 :: posted by TravisThe Avalanches have a new bootleg for you — you should know both the tracks that went into “Ray Of Zdarlight.” The track ends up more bangin than Wham ever was… really, it ends up sounding like a killer Justin Timberlake track. Is Justin just our modern excuse for George Michael? Put that into perspective.
Maybe now The Avalanches can get around to releasing a new album… already.

talk about a killer feel good dance track!
(and in regards to Justin being our modern excuse for George Michael - so true, but THANK GOD we haven’t seen him prancing around in a Club Tropicana-esque video…………..yet!)

At last!
When will that completely-reworked album be out anyway? Any clues?
Mind you, I haven’t been to their page in ages. Maybe it says there..

Hey I’m going to be a sour one here, I don’t know why people rave about this Avalanches line up, it’s not the same people who made there great Since I left you, lets all remember that, Dexter and De La Cruz are what made there last album, this current lineup is just picking up the crumbs.

actually Mr G,its the exact same people who made ’since i left you’!
dexter and de la cruz were only part of the live band
when they toured.
