Unfortch rave is back, but if it is reinventing itself like madonna, then I don’t mind so much. These guys were introduced to me by my good friend Sleazemore(watch out for this guy). I checked out their webpage and its quite a hot hoot, go check it out. They’re from London and they rock it out with their glowsticks out. I am definately anticipating a full length from these guys. You can listen to more songs on their site, and trust me they are all good. Get your panties in a tangle and check out Trash Fashion!

It’s definitely not a parody, i doubt they even know the meaning of the word. They’re a bunch of fucking nathans who’ve been hanging around like a bad smell since the demise of electroclash.

pretty certain they are a parody of the whole rave thing that has blown up. there is even a documentary made by the bands dog on myspace which takes the whole scene even further with a girl wearing an abacus around her neck. it’s all very much an ironic take on scene culture which certain magazines hype, and reminds me very much of Nathan Barley and its take on London media types.
that said, they are brilliant.

Thats where they came from and they have never lied about their roots. What the hell is wrong with ‘hanging around’ anyway? lots of bands have started out by ‘hanging around’ on a scene before they got anywhere.. By the way what have you achieved in your life so far, other than a degree in jealousy and negativity?

I was simply pointing out that they are not a “Nu-Rave” parody, they have been churning out this dross for ages. I am “hating” on them because i find the attention surrounding them absurd when they’re little more than a novelty act, desperately clinging to any “scene” they can wedge themselves into.
