Kitsuné Maison Three
15 November 2006 :: posted by Travis
Oh boy. Kitsuné Maison Compilation 3 is coming November 27th, and the tracklisting is killer as expected. Kitsuné never fails to impress: great track selection, excellent cover art, always the sound of now. Really, they don’t have their finger on the pulse because they are the pulse. If it is the hottest song from the hottest band of the moment then it is on Kitsuné Maison.
For many of you, Kitsuné Maison 3 will feel like familiar territory. We’ve touched on most of these bands before. Hell, we’ve even touched on some of the same tracks before. If you like what you’ve have heard on bigstereo then I can guarantee you will love this disc. Love.
Here’s a little sampler-megamix type thing highlighting some of the best tracks. It ends with Fox N’ Wolf’s “Youth Alcoholic”, which alone is enough of a reason to buy this compilation.

fuck kitsune, the reason it works so well as a medley is because it all sounds the same

um except obviously you haven’t taken a listen to the disc. you are correct that the sampler sounds a bit homogeneous, but there is actually some diversity on the cd — it’s not all blips and beeps: Lovely Feathers, Oh No! Oh My!, The Whitest Boy Alive all stand their own ground.

Can someone tell me if the 12′ is mixed or unmixed?
Thanks

All of Kitsuné’s compilations are unmixed as a rule, thank god. I wonder of the the 12″ will have a slightly different tracklist than the CD? This happened with several past releases.

The CD is unmixed.
