Max Steele and The Party Ice

OK. This track is total demo quality, but there is something quite inspired about Max Steele and The Party Ice’s “Pick-axe and Shovel.” Max Steele sounds something like a cross between The Somnambulants and The Postal Service… sigh, I never tire of diy pop music like this. Their other track are a little too saturated in irony for my taste — like in a retroclash type way — but there’s a lot of promise. I hope we hear more…
