Audioporno will be releasing a new 12″ this November with DJ Shir Khan from Berlin. Sounds pretty damn good — the 12″ includes that Spank Rock mix they did a while back. DJ Shir Khan’s mix of M.I.A. sounds fresh for a song with a 2+ year history… “Washing Up M.I.A.” takes M.I.A. from her own brand of Baile Funk to total dance floor synth madness. Like comparing apples and oranges: a total guilty pleasure.

bad bad taste… bad!
tracksampling like this should be forbidden, let alone the fact that both tracks are way overdue and one makes the other sound like a baja beach club mix sample. for those who don’t know baja beach club; that means:

Crediting Shir Khan with this mix/bootleg is a bit rubish I think. The tracks have the same bpm, and just about every dj playing this kind of music is mixing these two songs anyway - look no further than the simian mobile disco mix tape on their site.
Don’t get me wrong, but it’s likeable to crediting mcdonalds with releasing the burger
