Tigarah

Tigarah is our newest obsession. She is definately gonna get lots of hype, and impress us with her innovative style. She comes directly from Tokyo via Rio, currently residing in Los Angeles(of course).
Being compared to M.I.A. is average for Tigarah. She is way more than that though. She doesn’t even remind me of M.I.A. She is in a category that is all her own. Blender describes her as “…the world’s first Japanese-rap-baile-funk-crunk-star”.
She makes you dance in your seat, on the floor, and on table tops. She makes me feel hot and dirty.
I ordered her cd from her official site and I was surprised with a short email from her, thanking me for purchasing from her, and even asking me to write her back to tell her what I thought. I received the cd in two days, and I’ve been blasting it non-stop since then.
The EP contains 8 songs and it delivers! I wouldn’t want any more from an EP. Some of my favorite tracks are provided for your listening pleasure. Keep on reading too, you’ll be hearing more from her. Interview is in the works.
