Yeah, The Robocop Kraus has like one of the worst band names ever. Maybe it sounds hot in German or something. But whatever. Their danceable post-punk, new wave sound more than makes up for their lame name. You might dismiss this as the sound of the minute, but after a listen I bet you’ll quickly forget that you’re over all that poseur Franz Ferdinand dance rock crap. Anyway, It doesn’t matter because The Robocop Kraus has more in common with Kraftwerk, Devo, Gang Of Four and the Talking Heads than Franz Ferdinand ever did.

“You Don”™t Have To Shout” is the standout track off their latest disc, They Think They Are the Robocop Kraus. It could easily be five different songs if they chose it to be, but instead Robocop Kraus create a blender full of sounds and textures and styles. The repetitive lyrics build the song up into a little bit of chaos that I guarantee you”™ll be clapping along to. I sound like a used cars salesman. Fuck.
