Did the inner music nerd in you ever wonder what happened to Television Personalities? After an eleven year hiatus, Daniel Treacy is back with a new Television Personalities album. Where has he been… who cares? He declares on “Ex-Girlfriend Club”: “I’m still Danny from the block “¦ Maybe I should get a tattoo and some bling bling.” I think it might be a joke.
Television Personalities is still the post-punk pre-Art Brut disorder you need. Irreverent, yet timely… you won’t be singing along of course but will be nodding your head and smiling. Treacy teaches the kids on how it should be done.
