The Go! Team

One problem with seeing a band more than once is you have certain expectations. And usually your expectations are not met because it is easy to remember something better than it actually is. Not the case with The Go! Team. I went in not believing they could stand up to the last time I saw them at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, and I was (luckily) proven totally wrong. They were better. I don’t know if The Go! Team is freshly energized from SXSW or if touring the world non-stop has totally polished their act… but they owned the sold out club last night. The best part was they not only played most the tracks from Thunder, Lightning, Strike… but they also played a ton of b-sides like “The Wrath Of Mikey” and “The Ice Storm” as well as some unreleased material. It was not to be missed.

It was even totally worth getting lost in Boston and driving around in circles for two hours after the show… that says a lot. No? Why is Boston impossible to navigate?

Love the Go! Team. They are one band never to miss… no excuses.
